This years Kentucky Derby saw a huge upset as "Mine That Bird" who was in second to last place going into the final stretch bolts passed 13 other horses to win the race by over 5 horse lengths. It was one of the most amazing finishes in Kentucky Derby history.

Heavily favored Texas narrowly beat Ohio State, 24-21, in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl. The win came in the last 16 seconds of the game thanks to an amazing touchdown by Quan Cosby. Texas was supposed to whip Ohio State, a team from the weak Big Ten Conference, which went 1-6 in postseason bowls this year. The victory by Texas means the Big 12's South Division -- which had four teams in the top 13 of the final BCS standings -- has gone 1-2 in the bowls. Overall, the Big 12 is 4-2.
